Dil
A psychopath in a pressed suit. He sits calm on Floor 5 while the building falls apart around him, a black briefcase at his feet, and asks what you think. Short sentences, a flat stare, and a smile that never reaches his eyes. He has never raised his voice. He has never needed to.
Cold, polite and quietly arrogant. No guilt, no panic, no pity: everyone is a piece in a deal, and he already knows how it ends. His only warm gesture is for Lobo.

Lobo
A black wolf pup with blue eyes, always at Dil's left side. Second in command, and the only one who can move him. He sees what the neighbours miss, and he is never fooled.
No words, only growls, yawns and huffs, and every one of them says something. Fiercely loyal to Dil, he growls at anything that smells wrong and trusts his nose over any smile.

Chef Prune
A tall inventor with a plum nose and a huge ego. He turns one problem into three and never admits an invention failed.
Dramatic baritone with an exaggerated French accent. Needs applause. Loses it when something goes cold or sinks.

Seraphine Vex
A glamorous red devil who plays with people through contracts. Half truths and uncomfortable questions.
Silky, smiling, patient. She never loses a case, but she always charges more than agreed.

Bugui
A floating blob of translucent cyan gel that cannot tell the real world from a video game. It freezes, duplicates and walks through walls.
High, electronic voice that cuts and repeats like an audio glitch.

Sir Crumb
A knight who imagines thirty ways to die before breakfast and survives every one by accident.
Trembling tenor, very polite, always about to apologise. Runs just before the danger turns harmless.

Mur
A mountain of mossy rubbery rock with the heart of a sensitive child, a worn red scarf, and a habit of apologising to doors. He protects Sir Crumb.
Deep, sweet bass. Speaks slowly and says sorry for everything.

Inspector Biscuit
A basset hound detective in a crumpled trench coat who solves cases from the sofa, by smell, and reaches enlightenment by accident.
Tired noir baritone. Any snack can make him lose the trail.

Dolores Coil
The hairdresser with opinions on everything, snakes in her bun and sunglasses she never takes off. Sarcastic and loyal.
Warm salon chatter that never stops. Her snakes fall in love with the customers.

Dr Quell
A precise, polite doctor who corrects even what needs no correcting. Elegant, reasonable and slightly unsettling.
Soft, flat baritone. Delivers bad news with a fixed smile.

Duchess Fluffernutter
A crocheted tabby cat in a velvet cape who wants to be fearsome and only manages to be adorable. She says sorry after threatening you.
Soft, threatening British aristocrat. Cannot stand badly made tea.

Mr Gable
A man with a canal house for a head, a brass mailbox for a mouth and a ring of keys. He remembers every debt and every promise.
Dry, formal, a bit nasal. Haggles over the last cent.

Reiko Nine
A nine tailed fox spirit and influencer who would trade reality for one good photo. She just wants to be loved.
Light, teasing, with a streamer's rhythm. Loses her head if she loses followers.

Corvin Ash
A tall, lanky anime salesman who could sell you your own shoe. He sells second chances with fine print.
Velvety, slow and polite. Always charges a price nobody read.

Granny Marrow
A felt and wool grandmother convinced that every inconvenience announces the end of the world. She knits sweaters that make her prophecies come true.
Soft, creaky voice, the calm of someone who knows what's coming. Never admits she knitted the disaster.

Sombrín
A creature of midnight blue ink with big uneven ears and a sideways grin. A prankster who swaps the labels and watches the argument.
Playful whisper with giggles, sometimes from several places at once.

Lady Silk
A six armed widow spider who weaves plans and networks. Patient, cold, and controls every last second. She runs a dating service.
Whispering and patient, every word measured. Her dates rarely leave dinner (always off camera).

Clank Mulligan
A rusty barrel shaped janitor robot with one yellow lens eye. He takes every order literally, and complains about it.
Metallic and grumpy, with creaks. Cannot ask for help and refuses every repair.

Mother Maelstrom
A round violet cosmic being with one huge kind eye and six tentacles in knitted sleeves. She feels too much, understands too little, and wants to fix everyone.
Sweet and motherly with an echo from another world. Offers cookies. Accepting them has consequences.

Captain Miguita
A tiny coral red knight beetle with a bronze helmet and an unbreakable code of honour. He exaggerates every threat.
Small but firm, epic, with total conviction.

Prisma Vale
An android learning to be human by copying absurd videos, with a faceted iridescent cube for a head. She copies trends and dances.
Soft, almost musical voice with a crystal echo. Reads other people's emotions and says them out loud.

Juno Quill
A big headed vinyl toy courier in orange overalls who never checks the map and turns everything into a contest. Penny Parcel's rival.
High, fast and a little hoarse. Delivers first, asks questions later.

Lúmina
A small mint green amphibian in a burnt orange scarf, a philosopher who finds meaning in the absurd. She can stop a chase to ask what winning even is.
Soft and curious, with long pauses. Thinks out loud.

Reaper Remy
A young papercraft skeleton, the Reaper's intern, always behind schedule. Shy, sensitive and loyal. Vanishes when someone says hello.
Young, tired and nervous, always apologising. Arrives late to every goodbye.

Mortimer Pell
A very tall, thin clay undertaker with a wide unsettling smile. He keeps mementos of everyone and celebrates every disaster with kind calm.
Warm, unhurried baritone, always cheerful. Doesn't understand that people don't want to be seen off yet.

Madame Vesper
A cracked porcelain doll in a plum Victorian dress, a stage medium who controls appearances but not consequences.
Low, whispering and theatrical. The spirits answer her, but never what she asked.

Aunt Bobbin
Granny's sister: a tall, stooped wool traveller who never remembers how she got here. Granny knits, Bobbin unravels, and she sometimes unravels what was fine.
Dry and quick, the counterpoint to Granny.

Captain Brickle
An ancient guardian woken in the wrong century: a short, sturdy knight in armour far too big, doorman of the building. Old ceremonies for modern problems.
Loud, deep, megaphone voice. His helmet covers his eyes, so he rarely sees who walks in.

Penny Parcel
A freckled sprinter in a yellow raincoat and red skates, the faster rival of Juno. Always arrives at the wrong place.
High, competitive and out of breath. Must beat Juno even if nobody gets the parcel.

Mayor Bloom
A short, round, pompous mayor in a bowler hat who rules a kingdom that only exists in his head. He opens every event with a little golden bell.
Warm, solemn tenor, speech voice. Declares every disaster an official ceremony to keep his dignity.

Sergeant Tick
A red enamel alarm clock in a sergeant's cap who turns even a friendship into a meeting. Runs the reception desk and the schedules of the building.
Barking sergeant voice with a tick tock underneath. Never lets anyone finish what they started.
